Shoigu Reports on Ukrainian Armed Forces Casualties

In 2023, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 215,000 personnel. This announcement was made by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu.

“The groups of Russian troops are methodically reducing the combat potential of the Ukrainian armed forces. Over the past year, the losses of the opponent have exceeded 215,000 personnel and 28,000 units of equipment,” said Shoigu during a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces.

He noted that the Russian army will continue to “consistently achieve the goals of the special military operation.”
