Escalation of the Situation Will Ignite the Region: Husam Badran

The siege of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the escalation of the situation in the Gaza Strip and on the West Bank will ignite the region. This was stated by Husam Badran, a member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Hamas movement.

He also noted that Israel is unable to break Hamas's resistance in the Gaza Strip despite the full deployment of its military capabilities and the support from allies led by the United States.

The political bureau member drew attention to the worsening situation on the West Bank, including around the city of Jenin, which is periodically attacked by Israeli army units.

Hamas also called on the Palestinian people to intensify their resistance against the Israeli army on the West Bank.
