Emptying of Artsakh Residents Considered Resolution of Artsakh Issue, Must Address Armenia Issue as Well: Pashinyan
Those who planned and executed the emptying of Artsakh believe that this has resolved the Artsakh issue and that the Armenia issue must also be addressed. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated in an interview with public television: "The leaders of Armenia in the years 90-91 did not say that we needed independence for the sake of having a state, but that an independent state was necessary to resolve the Artsakh issue. This is the most important problem.
Now the opposition spokespeople declare that the Republic of Armenia's existence has no meaning without Artsakh, since Armenia's statehood was established to resolve the Artsakh issue. In other words, if the Artsakh issue were resolved, what would be the fate of the Republic of Armenia after that resolution?
Those who planned and executed the emptying of Artsakh believe that this has resolved the Artsakh issue and that the Armenia issue must also be addressed. There needs to be a puppet authority established in Armenia that would say the existence of the Republic of Armenia is meaningless," Pashinyan noted.
