Armenia and Tbilisi Discuss Railway Cooperation: Details
The delegation led by Alexey Melnikov, the CEO of South Caucasian Railways, recently visited Tbilisi, where they held a working meeting with representatives of Georgian Railways, headed by CEO Davit Peradze.
During the meeting, the participants discussed a number of issues related to the cooperation between the railways of the two countries. In particular, they summarized the results of joint work for 2023, discussed the organization of container trains in international railway communications, improvements in tariff policy for the summer season of 2024, and the organization of passenger transportation.
The implementation of the new "Orion 2" system for ticket sales of passenger trains was also discussed.
