Azerbaijan and Turkey Begin Joint Military Exercises
The joint tactical military exercises named "Mustafa Kemal Atatürk 2023" between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey have commenced. These exercises will be held in various locations, including the city of Baku, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the occupied territories of Artsakh.
According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, the exercises involve personnel from different types of troops from both countries, totaling up to 3,000 individuals, along with 130 units of armored vehicles, up to 100 artillery systems, more than 20 aviation and flight equipment, and engineering equipment.
The primary focus during the exercises will be on ensuring combat system integration and cooperation among the troops. The exercises are set to continue until October 25.
