Meeting of Representatives from Azerbaijan and Artsakh Expected Today in Yevlakh
Today, a meeting between representatives from Azerbaijan and Artsakh is expected to take place in Yevlakh.
Earlier, the office of the President of Artsakh presented the proposals from the Russian side, according to which the issues raised by the Azerbaijani side regarding the reintegration of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, the protection of their rights and security, as well as the provision for the livelihoods of the population of Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of the Azerbaijani Constitution, should be discussed during a meeting between representatives of the local Armenian population and the central authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This meeting is scheduled to occur in Yevlakh on September 21, 2023, followed by further meetings.
The official Kremlin has stated that during the negotiations to be held in Yevlakh, Russian peacekeepers will act as mediators.
