Russian Deputy Prime Minister on Timing and Location of Triangular Working Group Meeting
The location, date, and time of the next meeting of the triangular working group involving Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan for the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus will be determined during consultations among the deputy prime ministers of the three countries. This was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk to TASS.
“Intensive consultations have been held among the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia regarding the restoration of transport communications in the South Caucasus. The final decision on the venue and time of the next face-to-face meeting of the triangular working group will be made after the consultations,” he noted.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, commenting on the results of negotiations with counterparts from Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated that the next meeting of the triangular group, led by the deputy prime ministers, should take place next week to discuss issues related to the unblocking of transport communications.
