Traffic Restrictions in Yerevan on April 23 and 24
In connection with the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, to ensure the safety of participants in the torchlight march, traffic will be restricted in several streets of the capital starting from 19:15 on April 23. In particular, traffic will be partially banned in Republic Square, Amiryan Street, Mashtots and Baghramyan Avenues, and Kievyan Street. This information has been provided by the police.
Additionally, to ensure the safety of participants in the commemorative ceremony at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on April 24, traffic will be restricted from 06:00 in the direction from Leningrad Street to Tsitsernakaberd Highway, from the intersection of Isakov and Athens streets towards Athens Street, from the bridge next to the Yerevan HPP in the Hrazdan gorge towards Isakov Avenue, and on Verfel Street towards Brazil Square.
On the same day, from 08:30 to 11:00, access to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex will be closed for the safety of participants in the state ceremonial event.
