Azerbaijani Special Services Attempt to Gather Information, Warns Artsakh NSS

The National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh, in pursuit of its functions and authorities as mandated by law in the area of information security, has detected multiple instances of attempts by Azerbaijani special services to gather information regarding the effects of the blockade of the Republic of Artsakh through ongoing monitoring of the online domain and other measures. This was reported by the NSS of Artsakh.

Using fake accounts opened in the name of citizens of the Republic of Artsakh and Facebook pages that have gained access, Azerbaijani special services are trying to gather information about food, essential goods that are absent, and humanitarian aid in the Republic of Artsakh by sending various inquiries or making posts in Facebook groups.

“We urge and encourage everyone to refrain from public discussions on social networks related to internal and external security matters of the Republic of Artsakh, and from providing any information. If you receive inquiries or calls regarding such matters, or come across any related posts, please contact the NSS or call the hotline at 047-94-41-26 and 41-26,” the NSS statement mentioned.
