Republican Party Issues Statement

The Republican Party of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the incident involving political figure Edgar Ghazaryan:

“The Republican Party of Armenia expresses its outrage at the violence committed against Edgar Ghazaryan today. We are deeply convinced that this barbarity is directly linked to Edgar Ghazaryan’s social-political activities. This is a cynical but futile attempt to silence free speech, to suppress political opponents, and to cultivate an atmosphere of fear in the country.

We demand the current governmental regime to immediately unveil this crime and to punish not only the perpetrators but also the organizers and masterminds with all the severity prescribed by law. We wish Edgar Ghazaryan a speedy recovery.”
