Iran Must Develop Plan to Circumvent US Sanctions: Ghalibaf

Iran must develop a plan to overcome the consequences of American sanctions. This was stated by Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, during a meeting with Iranian and Iraqi businessmen in Baghdad.

According to him, the United States and Israel have realized that they cannot defeat Iran and Iraq through military confrontation, thus they have transitioned to economic warfare.

“In these circumstances, it is essential to develop a plan to overcome unfair sanctions,” Ghalibaf stated. He also suggested conducting trade between Iran and partner countries using national currencies to reduce dependence on the US dollar.

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump announced economic actions against Iran, discussing the country’s “unprecedented scale of isolation” and urging allies to join Washington.
