There Is Currently No Written or Verbal Agreement on Unblocking All Connections in the Region… MFA of Armenia

There is currently no written or verbal agreement regarding the unblocking of all economic and transport connections in the region, nor is there an established list or timetable. This was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia in response to a written inquiry from Hetq.

The MFA indicated that any routes through Armenian territory must operate exclusively in accordance with Armenian legislation and under Armenian sovereign control.

"Questions related to enclaves still need to be discussed during the joint works of the commission on delimitation and border security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the state commissions for border delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia," the MFA's response indicated.

According to the MFA, the Armenian side proposed to hold a meeting of the delimitation commission in October.
