Pashinyan Perceives Artsakh as the Homeland of Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharian and Equally Hates It, Tovmasyan

The Chair of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs of the National Assembly and member of the "Honorary Right" faction, Taguhi Tovmasyan, insists that Artsakh has no future under Azerbaijan. "Being part of Azerbaijan means that we are leading our compatriots into a new genocide because no Artsakh resident can live safely within Azerbaijan," said the opposition MP during a press briefing in the National Assembly.

She emphasized that Armenia has an obligation to stand by Artsakh. "I understand that Nikol Pashinyan perceives Artsakh as the homeland of Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharian and equally hates it, but we have no right to allow such an attitude to continue to prevail," Tovmasyan remarked.

Speaking about the situation at the borders of Armenia, Tovmasyan highlighted that the situation remains concerning. "Armenia’s borders have an equipment problem that needs to be resolved immediately. We cannot endlessly complain about others while failing to recognize that the Armenian authorities are not taking the necessary steps to ensure a well-equipped front line in Armenia," Tovmasyan stated.
