Arman Tatoyan: The Policy of Hiding Azerbaijani Violations Has Contributed to Azerbaijan's Reckless Criminal Acts Today
The policy of hiding Azerbaijani violations being carried out in Armenia has also contributed to the reckless criminal acts of Azerbaijan today. This was stated by the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan.
“Today, throughout the day, Azerbaijani armed forces have targeted the communities of Nerkhin Hand, Srashen, and Shikahogh in the Syunik region with attacks. Just a few months ago, our fact-finding efforts had demonstrated Azerbaijan's illegal actions, including new deployments in these areas, which have no legal basis and are criminal, prompting us to raise the issue of their immediate withdrawal from these territories. Moreover, I had mentioned the initial illegal intrusion and deployments of Azerbaijani forces in Nerkhin Hand back in November of last year (https://www.ombuds.am/am/site/ViewNews/1964).
In addition, I have consistently highlighted Azerbaijani hatred and enmity, a fascist policy that turns the presence of Azerbaijani armed forces into a real threat to people's peaceful lives. Today, Azerbaijani armed forces have confirmed my repeated assertion that their presence near Armenian residential areas is, in itself, a violation of the right to life and a disruption of security.
The policy of hiding Azerbaijani violations being implemented in Armenia has also contributed to Azerbaijan's reckless criminal acts today.
P.S. All documented facts from today are not only being sent to international organizations but also compiled into a separate report.”
