Major Car Accident in Shirak Province: 30-Year-Old Driver Crashes Ford Transit into Concrete Barriers
Today, on May 29, a major car accident occurred in Shirak Province. At approximately 07:25, 30-year-old Makich Gevorgyan, a resident of Gegharkunik Province, lost control of the Ford Transit vehicle he was driving on the 96th km of the Yerevan-Gyumri highway. The vehicle veered off the roadway, crashed into the concrete barriers on the bridge, and overturned.
According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, a passenger, 24-year-old Tatevik Harutyunyan from Armavir Province, was injured and transported to Gyumri Medical Center.
As reported, the driver underwent sobriety testing and was found to be under the influence.
