Major Car Accident in Yerevan: Police Officer Collides with Concrete Electricity Pole
Today, on May 26, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At approximately 00:10, a police officer from the 4th battalion of the Yerevan patrol service, 31-year-old Paruir Babayan, driving a Skoda Octavia, veered off the road on Silikyan old highway, near the funeral homes, and crashed into a concrete electricity pole.
According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, fortunately, there are no casualties. However, the electricity pole, which was carrying 6,000-volt power lines, has been toppled and blocked the road.
