24-Year-Old Man Commits Unlawful Acts Against 8-Year-Old Child

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has revealed details of a criminal case being examined by the Third Division of the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts' investigative unit regarding unlawful acts committed against a girl under 14 years of age.

During the preliminary investigation, it was established that on May 22, 2022, around 12:10 PM, a 24-year-old man born in 1998 committed unlawful acts against a girl born in 2014, who had not yet reached the age of twelve, while at a computer games club. The man was motivated by personal sexual desires.

Based on sufficient evidence, the 24-year-old has been charged under Article 142, Part 3, Clause 2 of the Armenian Criminal Code, and a measure of detention has been applied against him. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
