Video: How Levon Kocharyan is Being Detained

A video has been circulated in the media showing how police are detaining Levon Kocharyan, the son of the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.

Yesterday evening, during a Facebook live session, Ishkhan Saghatelyan spoke about the planned actions of the 'Resistance' movement for the following day. He announced that mass peaceful protests would begin across the capital at 08:00 AM.

“I call on our fellow citizens to go out to the streets at 08:00 AM and join the actions. We will close roads, stop traffic; the entire city must be paralyzed in the morning,” Saghatelyan said.

He addressed public servants, state employees, and all citizens who plan to go to work tomorrow. “Inform your employers that you have a legitimate reason not to go to work tomorrow. Essentially, the city will be paralyzed,” he emphasized.
