Video: Nikol Pashinyan Criticizes CSTO
Nikol Pashinyan has criticized the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) for its actions during the conflict with Azerbaijan in 2020. Pashinyan made these remarks in response to statements made by Alexander Lukashenko, who suggested a unified approach to respond to threats.
“Armenia requested assistance from the CSTO, but there was no response. Armenia asked for a halt in arms sales to Azerbaijan, with which it was in conflict. However, this request was ignored by CSTO member states,” Pashinyan stated.
At the same time, Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the Russian Federation for its support in halting military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.
