VIDEO: Armen Ashotyanc Detained

Armen Ashotyanc, the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), has been detained shortly ago. Earlier, we reported that Levon Kocharyan was also taken into custody.

It is noteworthy that yesterday evening, during a Facebook live session, Ishkhan Saghatelyan discussed the upcoming actions of the 'Resistance' movement. He announced that at 08:00 in the morning, mass peaceful protests against the government would begin across the whole capital.

“I urge our compatriots to come out into the streets at 08:00 and join the protests. We will block roads and disrupt traffic; the entire city needs to be paralyzed in the morning,” Saghatelyan stated.

He addressed public servants, state employees, and all citizens planning to go to work tomorrow: “Inform your employers that you have a legitimate reason for not attending work tomorrow. Essentially, the city will be paralyzed.”
