Was the Use of CSTO Forces in Ukraine Discussed? Zas Responds
The meeting of the leaders of the CSTO member states has concluded in Moscow. It was reported to have been constructive by the organization’s Secretary-General Stanislav Zas. He also stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin provided detailed information to CSTO partners regarding the progress of the special operation in Ukraine.
“The question of deploying CSTO forces in Ukraine was not discussed during the leaders' meeting,” Zas announced.
It is noteworthy that today, the anniversary summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is taking place at the Kremlin. The meeting included leaders from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan, held in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
