Tension in Bagratuni Street

Currently, there is a tense situation on Bagratuni Street in the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan. The police have blocked the path of the opposition "Resistance" movement's organized car rally, preventing them from reaching downtown Yerevan.

After about 10-15 minutes of negotiations between the police and protesters, the police opened the street. The car rally then continued towards Arshakunyats Avenue.

It is worth noting that the planned acts of civil disobedience started early this morning at 08:00 on the main highways leading into Yerevan, including those from Ashtarak, Argavand, Artashat, Sevan, and Arinberd.
