A Full Series of Joint Exercises Will Be Held by the CSTO

The CSTO has significantly strengthened its position and gained authority over the past decades. This opinion was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the CSTO summit.

“The cooperation within the CSTO has always been based on the spirit of alliance, friendship, and mutual respect for each other's interests, along with the principles of mutual assistance and support. The successful conduct of the CSTO peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan was proof of the organization’s ability to confront existing challenges and threats,” he stated.

The leaders of the CSTO will adopt a joint declaration on military cooperation. It will also include coordinated actions in various military and defense areas on the international stage.

A full series of joint exercises is planned for the autumn. The CSTO must continue its fight against organized crime, drug trafficking, and terrorism,” he emphasized.
