Finnish President and Biden Discuss NATO Membership Issues
The President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Magdalena Andersson, had a joint phone call with U.S. President Joe Biden to discuss issues related to NATO membership.
Regarding the joint conversation, the Finnish president informed via a post on his Twitter account: "I spoke about Finland's next steps for joining NATO. Finland deeply appreciates all the necessary support from the United States," said Sauli Niinistö. He mentioned that during the conversation, they expressed deep concerns regarding the war in Ukraine.
