Russian Foreign Ministry Reports on Conversation between Lavrov and Mirzoyan
Today, a phone conversation took place between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Current issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed, with special attention given to the preparations for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's official visit to Russia on April 19-20, including the signing of a package of bilateral documents.
The ministers exchanged views on the progress of the agreements reached between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia on November 9, 11, and 26, 2020, emphasizing further steps on the unblocking of transport communications in the region and the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The prospects for coordinating a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku with Russian support were also addressed.
