Earthquake 5 km Northeast of Shorja Village, Epicenter's Intensity Reaches 4-5 Points
On February 15 at 22:27 local time (18:27 GMT), a 3.3 magnitude earthquake (aftershock) was recorded by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia at coordinates 40.52° North latitude and 45.33° East longitude, 5 km northeast of Shorja village in the Gegharkunik region, at a depth of 10 km. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone reached 4-5 points.
The earthquake (aftershock) was felt in the Zovagugh community and the city of Gavarr at a strength of 3 points, and in the cities of Sevan, Abovyan, Dilijan, and Ijevan at 2-3 points.
