A Criminal Gang Committing Theft is Operating: 'Jraparak'
'Jraparak' newspaper reports: 'According to our information, the law enforcement system, particularly the police, is trying to implement preventive measures related to thefts with much greater intensity these days.
According to our sources, community police officers are visiting people's homes, as well as shops and office spaces, inquiring about the level of security. One of the reasons for this increased attention is that law enforcement has operational information indicating that a gang of young individuals committing theft is active in the country.
To prevent their further actions and to uncover the gang, the first phase involves informing people to be as vigilant as possible regarding their homes and service centers. It should be noted that the Prosecutor General of Armenia, Artur Davtyan, also spoke about the rise in residential burglaries during a meeting held at the Yerevan Prosecutor's Office on February 9.'
