Drivers will be held administratively responsible for not yielding to emergency vehicles that have their red and blue lights flashing and are simultaneously using sirens. This was emphasized today by Haykaz Matevosyan, the Deputy Commander of the 1st Troop Battalion of the Traffic Police, during a discussion at the city hall.
According to the Administrative Violations Code of the Republic of Armenia, failing to yield can result in a fine of 20,000 AMD.
