The government of Armenia has approved the allocation of funds for nine subvention programs in seven communities. This decision was made during the cabinet meeting held on August 27.

According to David Khudatyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the decision pertains to state co-financing programs from the state budget amounting to 1 billion 255 million drams. He specified the distribution of programs by regions as follows: two programs in the Armavir province, three in Gegharkunik, two in Lori, one in Kotayk, and one in Vayots Dzor. In total, this involves nine subvention programs across seven communities.

“I also want to mention that we have recently carried out funding for urgent works as per the decisions made regarding unspecified agenda items, and overall, we will have a total of 10.9 billion drams of co-financed subvention programs for all communities in the republic from the 2026 budget,” added the minister.
