Systematic Solutions to Address Suicides and Non-Regulatory Relations in Armed Forces to be Developed by PM Pashinyan
According to a decision by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, an interagency working group will be established to develop systematic solutions regarding suicides and non-regulatory relations within the Armed Forces.
The decision is based on part 16 of Article 7 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government:
- Create an interagency working group to develop systematic solutions with respect to suicides and non-regulatory relations within the armed forces.
- Approval of the composition of the working group as per the annex. (The group is headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and consists of 11 members, including the Ministers of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Healthcare, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labor and Social Issues, the National Security Service, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Investigative Committee, as well as the head of the Staff of the Security Council and the head of the Military Police.)
- The working group is tasked with developing and presenting relevant proposals to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia within a period of three months.
