Court Procedures to be Fully Digitized
The Armenian government plans to fully digitize court procedures by implementing a unified digital system. This system will centralize the management of all legal processes and replace the currently fragmented systems in place.
To strengthen the independence of the judiciary, improvements will also be made to the procedures for the education, selection, appointment, evaluation, promotion, and accountability of judges.
New mechanisms are expected to be introduced for reviewing cases within reasonable timeframes, aimed at reducing the burden on courts and enhancing the efficiency of judicial proceedings.
Unified standards for the building and material-technical support of courts will also be developed, the field of expert activities will be reformed, and the professional capabilities of the Justice Academy will be expanded.
