Two New Metro Stations to Be Built in Yerevan
The Armenian government has announced a new program aimed at the complete modernization and expansion of the Yerevan Metro, which includes the construction of two new stations.
According to the program, the "Ajapnyak" station will be built, along with a new above-ground station located between the "Zoravar Andranik" and "Sasuntsi Davit" stations.
As part of Yerevan's transport reforms, there are plans to introduce at least 250 new electric buses and to develop dedicated bus corridors. Additionally, the construction of six new transport infrastructures is anticipated, along with the implementation of a real-time traffic analysis and management system as part of the "Smart City" concept in Yerevan.
