Ukraine's New Defense Minister Developing New Mobilization Plan
A comprehensive decision must be made regarding mobilization, and work is currently being carried out in this direction. This was announced by the newly appointed Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevgeny Khmaran during a speech in the Supreme Rada, as reported by local media.
“A comprehensive decision must be made regarding mobilization. The first important component is the situation in the army, the dignified treatment of servicemen, and the conditions for conducting service and carrying out combat operations. These also include ways to replenish personnel, equipment, training, and provision of weapons and their replenishment,” he emphasized.
According to Khmaran, after resolving this issue, it is necessary to proceed to the next phase—the mobilization plan.
“It is directly dependent on the war plan and the vision related to it. This vision needs to be formed and clarified. All of this is being developed with the Chief Commander and the General Staff. A report will be presented to the President of Ukraine,” Khmaran stated.
