The Armenian government plans to allocate 16.7 million dram from its reserve fund for the transfer and necessary medical assistance for three children with serious health issues from the Gaza Strip. Treatment for two of the children is expected to take place at the ‘Norq Medical Center’, while the third will be treated at the ‘Arabkir’ Medical Center.

This information was provided through relevant projects included in the agenda of the government meeting held on August 20.

It was noted that out of 11 patients initially assessed, seven were selected for treatment that could be conducted in Armenia. However, only three families from the selected seven agreed to the condition of having a maximum of one accompanying person stay in the Republic of Armenia.

Simultaneously, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia has officially sent an invitation letter to the competent authorities of the State of Palestine through the diplomatic channels of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, assuring that the patients will receive the necessary medical care in Armenia, and the accommodation costs for accompanying individuals will be covered throughout the treatment period.

The proposal was drafted by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia's International Relations and Financial-Economic Departments.
