Ukrainian Drone Attack Targets Wildberries Warehouses in Tatarstan
The Zelendolsk region of Tatarstan came under attack from Ukrainian drones. The air defense forces managed to shoot down several unmanned aerial vehicles; however, falling debris triggered a local fire at a civilian facility.
According to the Ukrainian Supernova+ monitoring TV channel, the likely target of the attack was the Wildberries warehouse located in Zelendolsk. This region hosts distribution centers for major platforms such as Ozon and Wildberries.
Russian military officials stated that from 8 PM to 8 AM, air defense systems “hunted down and destroyed” 475 Ukrainian drones across 16 regions of Russia, including Crimea and the airspaces over the Azov and Black Seas.
As reported by Dmitri Milyaev, the governor of the Tula region, 107 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight, leading to a fire at the Wildberries sorting center, as well as damage to residential buildings and industrial facilities.
This marks at least the 15th fire at Wildberries warehouses across various regions of Russia since July 18.
