The Chief of the General Staff Made an Unexpected Visit to One of the Positions in Syunik

During a training assembly, a participant raised concerns about issues at one of the positions in Syunik. The Chief of the General Staff made an unexpected visit to that military post.

“The Ministry of Defense is constructive regarding substantiated and healthy criticism. We appreciate the identification of issues and express our readiness to respond to them quickly and consistently. At the same time, we inform that information about the quantity, types of weapons, and ammunition (including unexpendable reserves) present at military positions is classified. The publication of such information may lead to accountability. We urge to refrain from publicizing such information without appropriate discussions with the Ministry of Defense,” states the Ministry of Defense’s communication.
