Armenian Parliament Approves 2024 Budget
YEREVAN – The National Assembly of Armenia approved the 2024 state budget on Thursday, reflecting a projected economic growth of 5% and significant investments in social programs.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the budget aims to enhance public services, increase pensions, and improve healthcare facilities across the country.
Finance Minister Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of sustainable development, stating, "Our goal is to create a better living environment for all Armenians, which includes increasing the quality of state services and the welfare of citizens."
The budget allocates substantial resources to education and infrastructure projects, which are seen as essential for attracting foreign investments and ensuring long-term economic stability.
