Two men have been sentenced to death in Iran for allegedly collaborating with the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, and passing secret information during the recent conflict with Israel. According to a report referencing Ynet, this information was shared by the Iranian Fars news agency.

Omid Behzad and Pouria Safout were found guilty of providing Mossad with photographs, coordinates, and other data concerning Iranian military personnel, police officers, and security facilities.

The death sentences were carried out at dawn, following the conclusion of their trial. The Iranian authorities claim the men acted as ground agents for Israeli intelligence and participated in a broad intelligence operation.

Investigators believe that Omid Behzad identified the locations of military and security facilities through Google Maps and other mapping services, subsequently transmitting their coordinates through channels linked to Mossad. Meanwhile, Pouria Safout allegedly conveyed information about Iranian military personnel and security installations via a foreign satellite television channel, which Tehran considers a means of intelligence gathering.
