TRIPP+ Fund Resources Doubled to $402 Million
The U.S. authorities have doubled the funding of the TRIPP+ entrepreneurial fund, increasing it from $201 million to $402 million. This was reported by Hetq, referencing the website highergov.com, which tracks grants provided by the U.S. government.
The TRIPP+ entrepreneurial fund was established on January 26, 2026, following a meeting between Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington. The fund aims to support the development of the private sector in the South Caucasus and Central Asian countries through investments, loans, and grants.
According to data from highergov.com, on January 30, the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs allocated $201 million to the TRIPP+ fund. On July 16, the funding volume was changed to $402 million.
It is noted that the primary location for the utilization of the resources will be Armenia. It is important to mention that TRIPP Development Company and the TRIPP+ fund are different entities. The TRIPP Development Company is intended for the development and implementation of infrastructure for the TRIPP route running through southern Armenia.
