Russia Launches World's Most Powerful New Missile: Putin

Russia has successfully launched the "Sarmat" new-generation missile. The commander of the strategic rocket forces reported to Vladimir Putin about the successful test.

Putin stated that the "Sarmat" is the most powerful missile system in the world. The total power of the warhead carried by this missile exceeds that of any similar system by four times.

The first missile division armed with "Sarmats" is set to enter combat duty in the Uzhur formation by the end of the year, as reported to Putin by the commander of the strategic missile forces.

The president added that work on the "Poseidon" and "Burevestnik" directions is in the final stages. Additionally, Russia continues to enhance the "Kinzhal" system, including improvements in the non-nuclear variant for increased precision.
