VIDEO: Alen Simonyan Gives Narek Karapetyan 24 Hours
“I learned that Narek Karapetyan, the prime ministerial candidate from the 'Strong Armenia' organization, has written some status and talked about a certain person who, by the whims of fate, became the speaker of the National Assembly,” said Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
“Well, strong guy, I suggest you write who you mean by saying 'someone who became the president of the National Assembly by the whims of fate,' and whom you mean by talking about someone who is sponsoring casinos or online casinos and who has seated people to play casino games... Narek Karapetyan, you have 24 hours: either admit that you are afraid to mention my name or acknowledge that you are referring to some other speaker of the Republican Party or some other country, or I don’t know, come up with something,” Simonyan stated.
It is noteworthy that Narek Karapetyan, a member of the 'Strong Armenia' party council, wrote: “Do you know which country's citizens are the most frequent casino players in the world? Last year, Armenian citizens lost $20 billion in online casinos. And which political figure is the sponsor of this? Who will go down in history for shamefully seating his own nation at the casino? By the strange whims of fate, I became the Speaker of the National Assembly.”
