Strikes Expected: Pentagon's Warning to Iran
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth has announced that the United States will continue to blockade Iran's ports and target infrastructure should Tehran reject a peace deal.
According to U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, if Iran refuses the peace agreement, the United States will maintain its blockade of that country’s maritime ports.
Additionally, the Pentagon leader indicated that strikes will be directed at Iranian infrastructure facilities. In a conversation with reporters, Hegseth specifically stated, “If Iran makes the wrong choice, it can expect a blockade and bombings of infrastructure, power plants, and energy sector enterprises.”
