Emma Poghosyan Becomes Bronze Medalist at Youth World Weightlifting Championships
Member of the Armenian women's weightlifting team and newly crowned European champion, Emma Poghosyan has become a bronze medalist at the Youth World Weightlifting Championships.
On the competition day at the World Youth Championships held in Egypt, the women in the 86 kg weight category took to the stage. From the Armenian team, Emma Poghosyan lifted 103 kg, 106 kg, and 109 kg in the snatch. In the clean and jerk, she raised 137 kg and 144 kg. In this discipline, she ranked third. With a total lift of 253 kg, Emma Poghosyan secured the bronze medal at the Youth World Championships.
