Macron to Arrive in Armenia on State Visit
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan, has met with the Ambassador of France to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies. The government reports that the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the European Political Community (EPC) summit scheduled for May 4 and the official visit of French President Emmanuel Macron the following day, May 5.
In anticipation of the visit, both parties thoroughly discussed agenda items related to bilateral relations. Specifically, they addressed issues in the drinking water supply and drainage sectors, the French side's involvement in the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran section of the North-South road corridor, educational sector cooperation, as well as other strategic initiatives.
The interlocutors highlighted the importance of the established constructive cooperation aimed at effectively addressing current issues and persistently developing bilateral ties.
