Hungary's Newly Elected Prime Minister Gives Deadline to Orbán Supporters
Hungary's newly elected Prime Minister Péter Márki-Zay has demanded that representatives of the previous administration voluntarily resign from their positions by May 31.
On his page on the X social platform, Hungary’s future prime minister wrote that supporters of Viktor Orbán have until the end of May to leave their positions willingly. This warning is directed at the country's president, the president of the Curia (Supreme Court), the head of the National Judiciary Office, as well as the president of the Constitutional Court and the chief prosecutor.
Péter Márki-Zay emphasized that if the aforementioned officials do not resign by the specified deadline, they will be removed from their positions based on the mandate given by millions of Hungarians.
