Trump Threatens Iran with Power Outage for Ten Years
US President Donald Trump has made stern statements directed at the Islamic Republic, threatening to target the country's energy hubs. In an interview with Fox News, the White House leader stated that the United States has military capability to disable Iran's power plants.
According to Trump, in the event of a potential attack, Iran could be deprived of power supply for at least ten years. He emphasized that American strikes could result in consequences severe enough that the official Tehran would have to rebuild its entire energy system from scratch.
In addition to power plants, the US President identified Iran's transportation infrastructure as a potential target. He specifically mentioned the willingness to destroy Iran's bridges.
These statements come amid heightened tensions and mutual accusations between the two countries.
