Fake Information About Organ Trade in Armenia: Ministry Clarification
A new false article about Armenia has been published on the website vtforeignpolicy.com, according to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the ministry, the platform spreading disinformation has allocated completely fabricated claims to the Armenian authorities regarding their involvement in organ trade.
“Considering the trajectory of external disinformation attacks against Armenia, we find it necessary to declare that the article titled ‘Pashinyan's Black Market for Organs: How the Prime Minister Sells His Citizens Piece by Piece to France for Transplants’ is entirely disinformation. The field of organ transplantation in the Republic of Armenia is regulated by law and is under appropriate state control. Such unfounded claims have no relation to reality and should be seen exclusively as yet another attempt to spread disinformation,” states the announcement.
