Snow and Mixed Rain: Weather in Armenia
On March 9 and 13, isolated areas of the Republic are expected to experience precipitation in the form of snow in the mountainous and pre-mountainous regions, and mixed rain and rain in the valleys. Additionally, blizzards and low horizontal visibility are expected in the mountainous areas.
From March 10 to 12, dry weather is anticipated. This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center.
On March 9, in certain parts of Shirak, Aragatsotn, Armavir, and Ararat provinces, wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of 13-15 m/s. Overnight temperatures are forecasted to drop by 2-4 degrees on March 9 and 10.
In Yerevan, from March 9 to 12, and during the night of the 13th, dry weather is expected. However, after noon on March 13, precipitation is anticipated; in elevated areas of the city, mixed rain is expected, while lower areas will see rain.
On March 9, daytime temperatures in the capital will reach 6-8 degrees Celsius, dropping to +1 to +3 degrees in the evening.
