Armenia to Provide Up to 250,000 AMD Compensation to Citizens Affected by Canceled Flights, Says Mirzoyan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has initiated a program to assist citizens whose return or transit flights were canceled due to military operations in the Middle East. Those who purchased new tickets to return to Armenia will be eligible for compensation of up to 250,000 AMD per person, as announced by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
“In cases where a citizen has purchased a new ticket at a value lower than the compensation amount, the compensation will be provided based on the amount paid for the ticket. The mechanism for providing the compensation and additional details will be established in the coming days,” he stated.
