Iran's Supreme Leader's Aircraft Destroyed
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that an aircraft belonging to Iran's Supreme Leader has been destroyed at Tehran Airport. The Israeli military announced that they executed a precise strike on Tehran's Mehrabad Airport last night, destroying the aircraft.
It is notable that on the morning of February 28, the United States and Israel began launching strikes against Iran. Among the casualties were the country’s Supreme Spiritual Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Abdulrahim Mousavi, Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Pakpour, and Secretary of the Defense Council Ali Shamkhani. A 40-day mourning period has been declared in the country.
In retaliation, Iran has launched missile strikes against Israeli territory as well as American military facilities in the Middle East.
